A Symbol of “Many Helping Hands”

Since 1983, Community Chest has fulfilled millions of hopes of the less fortunate in our society. With our strong beliefs in transparency, good governance and accountability, we have established a trustworthy reputation and will continue to serve the society with integrity and compassion.
|
|
To commemorate our 25th anniversary, Community Chest is honored with a new orchid hybrid named after us – the Epidendrum Spirit of Giving. We are one of few social service organisations in Singapore to be honoured! The Epidendrum Spirit of Giving is a symbol of our compassion, trust and years of service towards society.
Each individual star-shaped flower in the cluster when put together symbolises the purpose of Community Chest in bringing people and resources together to help the less fortunate.

The cluster of flowers represents our community and the many helping hands coming together to embrace the spirit of giving.
The Epidendrum flowers throughout the year, signifying our constant efforts in serving the less fortunate in our society over the past 25 years.
The reddish-orange colour of the flowers reflects passion, in particular our four passions. They are nurturing children to succeed, dignifying the lives of the elderly, helping people with disabilities lead independent lives and keeping families together.
In the spirit of giving, be sure to continue supporting us in our never-ending passion towards giving! Donate today!
