Singapore Airlines (SIA) welcomed its first Airbus A350 in early March 2016, but not forgetting to share this memorable day with students from Metta School.
The day kick started with a water-cannon salute as the carrier gracefully glided onto the tarmac. Many of the students have not seen a plane up-close, let alone this ceremonial water-cannon salute. In addition, the children were treated to a tour around the new fuel-efficient aircraft, walking through the various sections of the plane. Singapore's Coordinating Minister for Infrastructure and Minister for Transport, Mr Khaw Boon Wan, was the Guest-of-Honour for the arrival of this new aircraft. The children had a great time as he guided them on how to use the entertainment facilities on board the aircraft.
Thank you Singapore Airlines for having Metta School over to celebrate this special occasion together!
