About the event

The Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA) is celebrating their 15th anniversary this year. To commemorate this joyous occasion, MPA organised a Go-Kart Challenge to bring together the maritime community for an afternoon of celebration and fun. The event, which was held on the afternoon of Friday 4 November 2011 at Kartright Speedway, saw representatives from maritime companies and organisations compete in an exciting race to see who can cross the finish line first. 

They also had a special CEO Challenge for CEOs to pit their racing skills against one another, all in the name of good fun. The Challenge ended off with a networking reception for drivers and supporters alike to relax, enjoy and network. MPA also took the opportunity of their 15th Anniversary Go-Kart Challenge to invite the maritime community to join them in doing their part for the wider community, through raising funds for Community Chest. They received good support for this and raised a total of $65,000 for Community Chest.
