1. When and where will the Walk be held?
ComChest Heartstrings Walk 2011 @ Marina Bay will be held on Sunday, 22 May 2011 at Marina Bay Waterfront Promenade.
2. What time does the Walk start?
7.30 am. There will be a mass warm up before the flag-off.
3. How long is the walk route?
Approximately 4 km.
4. Do I have to complete the entire walk route?
We encourage participants to complete the walk route as much as they can.
5. Would the ComChest Walk proceed in the event of rain?
In the event of adverse weather due to unforeseen circumstances, the organisers reserve the right to cancel the event without any refunds.
6. What type of attire is appropriate for the walk?
Participants are advised to dress lightly to prevent heat exhaustion and dehydration. A good pair of shoes that can withstand walking long distances is recommended and do drink enough water throughout the event.
7. Where are the first aid & water stations?
There are 2 first aid & water stations, manned by volunteers, located along the route.

• Custom House
Participants experiencing difficulty can seek professional medical assistance at these first aid stations. In addition, there will be one medical station at Marina Bay Sands.
8. Is there any transportation provided before and after the event?
MRT
Circle Line (by foot): Exit at Promenade MRT Station and take a 10-minute walk from the station to Bayfront Avenue via the pedestrian footpath adjacent to the public road.
Circle Line (by bus): Exit at Promenade MRT Station and board the public buses (SBS 133, SBS 97, SBS 97e, SMRT 106) from bus stop along Temasek Ave outside the station.
North South Line (by bus): Exit at Marina Bay MRT Station and board the public buses (SBS 133, SBS 97, SBS 97e, SMRT 106) from the bus stop opposite the station.
North South Line (by bus): Exit at Raffles Place MRT Station and board the public bus (SBS 97) at the bus stop opposite Ogilvy Centre along Robinson Road or at the bus stop in front of The Sail along Marina Boulevard.

SBS 97/97e: Jurong East to Marina Square (loop)
SBS 133/133M: Ang Mo Kio Interchange to The Esplanade, Raffles Avenue (loop)
SBS 502: Pioneer Road North to Marina Square (loop)
SBS 518: Pasir Ris to Suntec City (loop)
SMRT 106: Bukit Batok Interchange to Marina Centre Terminal
9. Is there any bag deposit service?
There is no bag deposit service available. You are encouraged not to bring valuable items and to carry your personal belongings with you at all times. Organisers shall not be liable for any loss and/or damage of items.
10. Can I bring young children or babies to the walk?
Participation in the walk is free for children aged 5 and below, so you are welcome to bring your children to the walk. However, they will not be entitled to the collection of the Goodie Bag.
11. Can I use inline skates or bicycles?
For safety reasons, use of inline skates or bicycles on the walk route is not allowed.
12. Can I bring my dog to walk with me?
You may bring your dog, but please consider the fact that there will be large numbers of people and small children at the event. If you do bring your dog, kindly ensure that it is on a leash at all times and that any necessary safety measures are taken (e.g. muzzling). Please be considerate to others and clean up after your dog.
13. Are toilets provided along the route?
Toilet facilities are available at Marina Bay Sands and Floating Platform Gate G6. Please check with the route marshals along the route who will be able to point out the nearest available toilets.
14. Are showering facilities provided?
We regret to inform that there are no showering facilities provided.
15. What is in store after I complete the Walk?
