On 24 Oct 2009, EPCOS Pte Ltd organised a bowling tournament at Orchid Bowl for its employees and they also invited beneficiaries from AWWA Community Home to join in the fun. While the employees from EPCOS were pitching their bowling skills against one another, they also took the chance to interact with the beneficiaries and shared some bowling tips! 

Mr Lim Kim Kok (Director of Wafer Fab Operations) also took the opportunity to present a cheque of S$22,500 to Ms Tan Bee Heong (Director of Community Chest), who received on behalf of AWWA Community Home at the end of the Bowling Tournament.

Besides the bowling tournament, employees of EPCOS also organise events to raise the much-needed funds for AWWA Community Home. One of the fund raising events was EPCOS Charity Fun Fair held in Jun 2009. During the event, EPCOS employees conceptualized and set up their own food and games stall with proceeds benefiting AWWA Community Home.  The beneficiaries were also invited to the event and they had fun showcasing their talents by putting up singing and dance performances, which wowed the crowds.
