Terms and Conditions

The following terms and conditions shall apply to the Win a Honda Civic Hybrid Lucky Draw Contest: -

Win a Honda Civic Hybrid Lucky Draw Contest (hereinafter referred to as Draw”) is organised by Community Chest (hereinafter referred to as ComChest). The following terms and conditions are laid down by ComChest to regulate the conduct of the Draw and the sale of the Draw Tickets (hereinafter referred to as Ticket(s)). The purpose of the Draw is to raise funds for ComChest to help over 340,000 needy individuals.

Each Ticket sold will be subject to terms and conditions governing the Draw as stipulated by ComChest. Neither ComChest nor its distributors shall be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever in connection with the sale of that Ticket.

The Draw is not open to employees of National Council of Social Service and/or Kah Motor Co Sdn Bhd and/or anyone associated with the conduct of the Draw and the sale of the Tickets.

The Prize for the Draw is one (1) unit of 1.3L Honda Civic Hybrid in Premium Deep Violet ( hereinafter referred to as Prize”).

It is a condition of the sale of any Ticket that the payment of any Prize won by the Ticket to the person presenting that Ticket shall constitute a full and complete discharge of ComChest's liability in respect of that Ticket.

The Prize does not include COE, Road Tax, Radio Licence, Registration Fee and Insurance. The specifications may vary from the model shown in the Ticket. ComChest will not entertain any request to change the colour of the Prize. The Prize is not exchangeable for cash or any other models available, either wholly or partially.

ComChest shall conduct the Draw on 9 April 2010 at Community Chest, 170 Ghim Moh Road #01-02, Singapore 279621. ComChest has the right to change the venue and draw date at its sole discretion without any prior notice.

The winner shall be notified by telephone and post within fourteen (14) days of the date of the Draw. The result of the Draw will be posted on www.honda.com.sg and www.comchest.com.sg and published on 16 April 2010 in The Straits Times by Kah Motor Co Sdn Bhd.

No person under the age of eighteen (18) years shall be entitled to claim any Prize or compensation from ComChest. The Prize can be claimed from 16 April 2010 to 15 June 2010 from Community Chest at 170 Ghim Moh Road #01-02, Singapore 279621, Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm, excluding public holidays. In the event the Prize is not claimed by 15 June 2010, the Prize will be forfeited and donated to a charity organization designated by ComChest.

The Prize must be registered under the winner’s or his / her immediate family member’s name within 1 month of Prize collection. In the event the Prize is not registered within 1 month of Prize collection, ComChest may, at its absolute discretion, grant an extension of time not exceeding 3 months from Prize collection. In the event the Prize remains unregistered after such date, the Prize will be forfeited and donated to a charity organization designated by ComChest.

The Prize is non-negotiable and non-refundable. The Prize cannot be bartered and is not exchangeable for cash. ComChest will not entertain any request pertaining to the sale of the Prize.

ComChest reserves the right to disclose and publish the name, and such other particulars of any winner in such mode and manner as ComChest may in its sole discretion deem appropriate. The winner's name, picture and Prize may also be used for publicity reasons. Acceptance of the Prize is considered as consent to this usage.

ComChest shall not be liable in any way to any participant for any loss or damage arising from or in connection with the Draw. For the avoidance of doubt, ComChest is not the supplier of the Prize and shall not bear any liability in relation thereto.

ComChest’s decision on the results of the Draw, the Prize and/or on all matters relating to or in connection with the Draw is final, binding and conclusive, and ComChest will not entertain any further correspondence regarding the same.

ComChest reserves the right at its absolute discretion to replace the Prize at its equivalent value, terminate, withdraw or discontinue the Draw, or amend the terms and conditions herein from time to time without prior notice.
