The article mentioned the involvement of Mr Chan Chun Sing, Acting Minister for Community Development, Youth and Sports and Mr Heng Swee Keat, Minister for Education in the "ComChest TrueHearts" promotional trailers, and how they interacted with Community Chest beneficiaries in the filming process.

First-time host of "ComChest TrueHearts 2011" Iriana Halim shared her anticipation in hosting the show with her "idol" and fellow MediaCorp artiste, Chew Chor Meng. The other two hosts for the show are Ben Yeo and Cavin Soh.

The objective of "ComChest TrueHearts 2011" show is to motivate and engage the younger generation to be involved in charitable causes and at the same time, utilise their drive and passion to help spread the message of giving in the community. MediaCorp artistes will be divided into two groups, namely the Love and Care Teams.

MediaCorp artistes Jeffrey Xu Ming Jie, Romeo Tan, Adeline Lim, Ian Fang will be putting up a korean-styled modern dance performance while Desmond Tan, Jerry Yeo and Ya Hui will be presenting a modern martial arts dance. Artistes who attended the "ComChest TrueHearts 2011" media launch talked about the challenges they faced practising their respective items for the show.

Foreign artistes who will be performing at "ComChest TrueHearts 2011" include Aska Yang, Zhang Yun Jing, Michelle Yim, Ha Yu and Alien Huang.

Come 27 November 2011, the public can catch the live broadcast of “ComChest TrueHearts 2011” on Channel 8 from 7pm to 10pm. Telepoll lines are opened from now to 7 December 2011 midnight. The public can call 1900-112 8805 for a $5 donation, 1900-112 8820 for a $20 donation, 1900-112 8850 for a $50 donation and 1900-112 8800 for an $88 donation.
