SINGAPORE: The Community Chest is aiming to raise S$52.6 million to help the elderly, children and adults with disabilities, as well as families in need.

The Sin Ming Sing Cantonese Opera Centre is also pitching in, with hopes to raise more than S$30,000 through its performance.

It also hopes to promote this traditional art form.

The cast includes five professional artistes from Guangzhou, as well as local amateur opera artiste Doris Guo Xiaoyu.
