More About Charities

We support critical and pilot programmes, and we want you to have an in-depth understanding of these programmes.

We hope to provide you with information regularly so that you can know more about the critical programmes that serve the basic needs of the less advantaged, as well as pilot programmes which are currently not run by the existing charities.

Our EIPIC programmes

What is EIPIC?
EIPIC refers to Early Intervention Programme for Infants and Children. It is a centre-based programme that provides learning and therapy services to children with disabilities under the age of six, such as Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy or multiple disabilities.

What does EIPIC seek to do?

  • maximise the developmental growth potential of children with disabilities
  • minimise other disabilities from developing
  • provide support to parents and caretakers so that they are equipped with the knowledge and skills to help their children grow and learn

2,085 children have benefited from the EIPIC programmes since 2003. For 2008, we are supporting 11 EIPIC programmes to help 1,210 children.
