Meet Beng Chong
Beng Chong never has it easy.
Born with cerebral palsy, a medical condition that affects the use of muscles due to brain injury, Beng Chong has experienced more downs than ups.
Although Beng Chong's mother tried her very best in taking care of Beng Chong, it became increasingly difficult for her to do so as his muscle strength deteriorated over the years. Beng Chong had to move to Singapore Cheshire Home.
Singapore Cheshire Home opens up a whole new world to Beng Chong. On top of providing him physiotherapy and occupational therapy, he's also taught simple tasks. Withdrawn and unhappy before he came to Singapore Chesire Home, Beng Chong now leads a more independent and enriched life, and actively participates in activities and outings at Singapore Cheshire Home.
No doubt, there're still ups and downs. But for Beng Chong, finally, the ups are more than the downs.
