Community Chest was established in 1983 to raise funds for the nation’s many social service organisations, relieving them of the burden of fund-raising so they can focus on their primarily responsibility of caring for and serving the needy.

With the right programmes and support in place, people with disabilities can play a valuable and enriching role in society. That's why we believe that the care and welfare of people with disabilities should be a shared concern of all in the community.

The resources we help fund are aimed at helping people with disabilities lead independent lives. We seek to establish an environment where those with special needs can live independently and be well-integrated into society. Our programmes serve those with intellectual, sensory, physical and developmental disabilities.
