Your donation allows frail and lonely elderly to have:
A life in the community
- With Home Help Services, warm meals are delivered to their homes, and they also receive help in housekeeping or laundry. These elderly can also ask for help and transport to attend medical appointments
- Day Care Centres help care for them during the day so that their family members can go to work with a peace of mind
- At the Residential Homes, they have access to a host of meaningful social and recreational activities that enrich their lives.
Effective caregivers
- Taking care of frail and lonely elderly can put undue stress on their caregivers, both physically and emotionally. These caregivers need help and respite too
- The Caregiver Support Services provide information and referral, counselling, training and e-services that help them to relieve the caregivers' stress
